Do you Believe in God?

This multimedia introduction to "The Big One" event was originally presented on a large screen, 20 feet square, using eight slide projectors controlled by our own show control software.

"Do you believe in God" is a two-minute montage of questions and answers. We took a video camera into the town to find out what ordinary people really thought - the results were enlightening!

To prepare the slide show we captured stills from the video footage onto slides. "Do you believe in God" is in our Gallery because we transfered video to slides, at a time when most people were rushing to do the opposite.

Preparing presentation quality video is difficult, and especially so when you're doing unscripted interviews on a crowded street. Much of the footage is unusable, because the subject has his back to the camera, or someone's clowning in the background.

Because we used stills, we were able to select the very best portraits from the footage we had, and combine these with the best audio clips, without having to worry about lipsynch.

Note that the presentation is 1.3Mb. If you are using a modem, the playback will be jerky until loading is finished.

Obviously this small screen version cannot re-create the visual impact of the original. The soundtrack is the same, although the audio quality has been reduced by the compression required for Web delivery.
