CoStar Group,
To make a video at very short notice.
Costar's CEO, Adrew C Florance, was detained in London at the end of the year, and he was unable to attend CoStar's Christmas party back in Maryland USA. He wanted to send Christmas greetings to his staff at the party.
After a brief consultation, we agreed to use high quality MPEG4 compression at full video resolution, and send the video from England to USA over the Internet, using a fast FTP link.
The video was shot using a DV camcorder, then edited, encoded and transfered directly to CoStar's computer, within a single day.
At the party it was played on a notebook PC using a projector, and was very well received.
This short sample is drastically compressed for modem bandwidth, and is encoded for Real Player.
